The Standalone XL LabelPro™ provides technicians the ability to easily, precisely and quickly apply labels to vials up to 1″ (25mm) diameter with a small footprint instrument, without the use of a tube handler. While we offer a variety of automated labeling solutions, this standalone device is ideal for labs running smaller labeling jobs.

The Standalone XL LabelPro™ provides technicians the ability to easily, precisely and quickly apply labels to vials up to 1″ (25mm) diameter with a small footprint instrument, without the use of a tube handler. Labels Designed to Last

Our labels contain chemical resistance and temperature tolerance properties! The labels are designed for vapor phase LN2 (-196°C) and freezer  (-80°C) environments, and the thermal printer resin is rated super premium for DMSO and alcohol chemical resistance (T84/T85).

The XL LabelPro™ is compatible with a wide range of microtubes, cyovials, glass tubes and more. Any vial up to 1″ (25mm) diameter can be labeled. 

  • ANSI/SLAS 96, 48, 24, 12, 6 format plastic or glass tubes from BioMicroLab and major manufacturers such as FluidX, Thermo Scientific, Matrix, Micronic, ABgene, Corning and more
  • 300µL – 20mL + Up to 125 mm tall, such as 4mL, 8mL glass vials, 15mL conical tubes & Cryovials

XL LabelPro™ Software

Design and layout of labels is accomplished with BioMicroLab’s label design software. Labeling functions are embedded in the XL Work List Manager Software which provides the ability to print the same data on all labels or merge variable data on each label. Project based workflow allows for easily reprinting and applying commonly run labels.

BioMicroLab Cryo labels contain chemical resistance and temperature tolerance properties that make them the very robust choice for labs. The strong permanent acrylic adhesive is very suitable for demanding label applications! Cryo label material is compatible with extremely cold storage temperatures found in genetics, virology, microbiology and other related fields. The cryo labels are designed for vapor phase liquid nitrogen (-196°C) and freezer (-80°C) environments, and are made of durable plastic—resistant to water, grease, smudging and tearing. Labels hold up to alcohol, methanol, oils and other chemicals.
